Nvidia RTX 30 series Founder Edition cards were taken off the market: Will they soon be taken away?

The latest news says that Nvidia has taken the Nvidia RTX 30 series Founder’s Edition cards off of the company’s website. Sources say that the cards are no longer on the company’s websites in the United States and France.

Before, US websites would send visitors to a third-party store, usually Best Buy. The order would then be filled by the retail giant. GPUs are still used, but only in pre-built PCs, laptops, and third-party add-in cards.

The website no longer has the high-end RTX 3080 and 3090 graphics cards or the mid-range RTX 3060 and 3070 cards. Some of them came out in 2020, which is more than two and a half years ago. So, we can come to the conclusion that Nvidia is getting rid of the RTX 30 series.

The RTX 30 series might have been taken off the market a little too soon.

Nvidia’s newest RTX 40 series lineup is still a bit uneven. The company hasn’t yet made the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 cards, which are more affordable and useful.

In the end, they make up most of the sales for the company. On the Steam Hardware Survey charts, both of these Ampere GPUs are near the top. So, removing the RTX 3060 and 3070 lines from the official websites might have been a hasty decision, since people will have to wait months for their needs to be met.

This will help AMD, which already has the upper hand with its RX 6000 line of cards, which are much better for the money. Since they are sold at MSRP, Nvidia’s FE GPUs are the least expensive option to think about. When they suddenly go away, players will be left with add-in card models that are often much more expensive than usual.

Nvidia FE cards have been delisted before

It’s important to remember that this isn’t the first time Founder’s Edition cards have been taken off the website. In 2020, the RTX 30 series GPUs were taken down by accident. But Nvidia moved quickly, and the listings were back online in just a few hours.

But the FE cards have been taken off the Nvidia website for a few hours now. So far, the company hasn’t done anything to fix the problem. This backs up our idea that Nvidia is getting rid of the Founder’s Edition versions of its last-generation cards.

Most of the time, the resources that were used to make the RTX 30 series reference cards will be used to make the new FE cards based on Ada Lovelace. Now that some models have been released to the public, the whole line is probably being made in large quantities.
