Obtaining Fortnite’s New Ultra Doom Mythic is Challenging

It is possible to become Doom’s Chosen by encountering Doom Island in your Fortnite match, but numerous players consider it to be a challenging task.

The latest update for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, version 31.10, brought numerous new elements, including Shuri’s Black Panther Claws. However, the most notable addition is the Ultra Doom mythic.

This remarkable ability transforms you into Doctor Doom, empowering you to cause chaos among all opponents in a match.

Some fans are extremely excited about this formidable mythic, but others are let down by its low spawn rate. Each game only has a 5% chance of Doom’s Island appearing, making this mythic exceptionally elusive.

The online Fortnite community is split on the issue, as evidenced by a post on X discussing the impressive abilities of the Doom powers. These powers grant players four distinct abilities, providing a significant advantage in gameplay upon acceptance.

Although the Ultra Doom mythic has generated a lot of excitement among fans, players still harbor doubts about its fairness due to the low 5% spawn chance.

One reply stated, “I understand why they wouldn’t want this feature in every game, but it should be made more accessible so casual players like myself have a chance to experience it.”

In a post that was completely unrelated, a player expressed their disappointment with the low spawn rate as it meant they rarely got the chance to see it.

The Ultra Doom mythic is scheduled to end on October 5, after a one-month run. This shorter duration may also pose a challenge for fans trying to access the island.

“One person responded with a crying emoji, saying that the spawn rate needed to be buffed in the near future. Another comment echoed the same request.”

It remains uncertain if Epic Games will increase the frequency of the Ultra Doom mythic appearing in games during September. However, players can currently earn cosmetic rewards by completing the Doom quests.
