Obtaining Pawniard in Pokemon Go and Its Potential Shiny Form

Pawniard is a small yet powerful Pokemon with a combination of Dark and Steel types. But, how can one obtain it in Pokemon Go?

Pawniard was first introduced in the Generation 5 games as a small yet powerful opponent with steel blades on its torso. In order to evolve Pawniard, players of the mainline games must wait until it reaches level 52 with patience.

In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, players have the ability to evolve their Bisharp into Kingambit by defeating three Bisharp that are each holding a Leader’s Crest.

Although Kingambit has not yet been added to Pokemon Go, there are still ways to catch Pawniard and Bisharp. Here’s how.

How to Catch Pawniard in Pokemon Go

Pawniard can be obtained as a reward through completing Field Research tasks in Pokemon Go. Furthermore, there is a 12% probability of hatching Pawniard from Eggs and it may also appear as a Raid boss during specific events.

Pawniard will be the highlighted Pokémon in 1-star Raids from Thursday, July 25, 2024, to Tuesday, July 30, 2024 during the Strength of Steel event.

Indeed, Shiny Pawniard is currently obtainable in Pokemon Go. Its alternate form was included by Niantic during the Team Go Rocket takeover in November 2022.

How to Evolve Pawniard in Pokemon Go

To evolve Pawniard into Bisharp, you must feed it 50 Candy.

Currently, Kingambit, the Dark/Steel-type evolution of Bisharp, has not yet been included in Pokemon Go. Rest assured, we will provide an update on this article prior to the introduction of Paldean Pokemon.
