The recent addition of Dawntrail to Final Fantasy XIV has greatly expanded the MMORPG’s content. With new classes, a captivating storyline, and a plethora of items, gear, and lore to discover, there is no better opportunity to revisit Eorzea.

Once the main story is completed, there are numerous additional activities to engage in, including a sidequest that offers a highly coveted minion as a reward. Here is a step-by-step guide on obtaining the Cornservant minion.

How to Get the Cornservant Minion in Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail

To obtain the Cornservant Minion, one must complete the quest chain in Dawntrail zones. This consists of seven quests in total, which can be unlocked by completing the main scenario questline. It is recommended to finish the entire MSQ before attempting to acquire the minion.

The list of quests begins with Corn Of Necessity in Tulliyollal.

  • Corn of Necessity, starting in Tulliyolal (must have Rite Of Succession complete)
  • Too Much of a Good Thing, starting in Urqopacha (must have Knowing the Pelupelu complete)
  • Stretched Thin, starting in Kozama’uka (must have Knowing the Hanuhanu complete)
  • A Stomach for Change, starting in Yak T’el (must have Taking a Stand complete)
  • Tastes Like Home, starting in Shaaloani (must have Law of the Land complete)
  • Refined Tastes, starting in Heritage Found (must have Gone and Forgotten complete)
  • Tasteful Memories, starting in Solution Nine (must have Unto the Summit complete)

By completing Tasteful Memories, you will be rewarded with your own Cornservant minion. Although you may be tempted to quickly skip through the cutscenes to obtain this corny creature, the sidequest is truly worth reading.
