Blizzard’s Discord promotion allows World of Warcraft players to earn a free Parrlok Pet from now until early September.
The War Within expansion for World of Warcraft was highly anticipated and its early access began on Thursday, August 22, a few days prior to its worldwide launch on August 26.
To commemorate the event, Blizzard Entertainment has collaborated with Discord to offer WoW players the opportunity to obtain a unique Parrlok Pet through a promotion.
To obtain the new reward, fans can follow these steps.
How long will the Discord quest in WoW remain available?
You can accept Discord’s World of Warcraft: The War Within Quest from August 23 until 11:59 PM UTC on September 8.
According to the promotion terms listed by Discord, participants are limited to unlocking only one reward per account.
How to complete The War Within quest
To successfully finish the mission, participants are required to live stream their World of Warcraft gameplay to a friend via the desktop app for a minimum of 15 minutes, using a Discord voice channel.
To successfully stream gameplay, adhere to these instructions.
- To initiate World of Warcraft, follow these steps.
- To access Discord’s desktop app, simply open a Direct Message, group chat, or server.
- Start a voice call or join a voice channel and hit the Screen Share button in the voice status panel.
- After selecting the application for the game, proceed to go live.
Upon initiating the stream, players have the ability to monitor their progress through either the Quest bar or Quest Home options.

Upon the completion of the 15-minute quest, a gift code will be sent to Discord users in the Discover tab’s Quests section.
After that, players are advised to follow these steps:

- Click on the profile icon located at the top-right corner of the app.
- Next, click on Redeem Code and enter the redemption code to receive the Parrlok Pet through WoW’s in-game mail.
