On May 23rd, “Singles”magazine released new visual pictorials of actress Oh Yeon-seo, who plays Jung Soo-min in “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers.”
The theme of the photoshoot revolved around the idea of “Bad Genius.”Oh Yeon-seo exuded an exceptional aura, showcasing her charisma and unique poses while dressed in a knit top and black feather boots.
During the interview, Oh Yeon-seo revealed, “I am drawn to films that showcase characters with unique personalities and exude intense energy. The script for the initial installment of ‘The Player 2: Master of Swindlers’ caught my attention with its intriguing storyline. I was eager to see what would happen in the next chapter, which ultimately led me to take on this project.”
The actress disclosed her current location, stating that she had taken a long break and was enjoying her daily life after finishing a drama last year. However, with the start of drama promotions, she has now resumed work without any rest after a considerable period of time.
Oh Yeon-seo greeted the public with a cheerful and amiable demeanor as she shared, “Playing Jung Soo-min was both intriguing and challenging for me, as it was a role I had never taken on before. I had to constantly question and explore the depths of her character. It was a rewarding experience to bring her to life and portray her with a complex and poignant sadness that sets her apart from others.”
When questioned about her approach to portraying Jung Soo-min in this project, the actress explained, “I aimed for Jung Soo-min to possess a consistent demeanor, impressive intellect, and enigmatic allure akin to a spy in a film.”She further elaborated, “I strived to create a distinct appearance for each scene, altering my clothing, hair, and makeup accordingly. I placed great emphasis on my appearance, which allowed me to portray the character with ease and authenticity.”Her remarks have sparked anticipation for the drama.
Furthermore, the highly anticipated drama “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers”is scheduled to debut on tvN at 8:50 p.m. on June 3rd.
