On February 4, renowned singer-songwriter Olivia Marsh, who is also the elder sister of Danielle from NewJeans, participated in a roundtable interview at Warner Music Korea, located in the vibrant district of Gangnam, Seoul. During the conversation, she unveiled insights about her debut EP titled “Meanwhile.”

Interestingly, Olivia conveyed that prior to her own debut, Danielle lent considerable support, offering invaluable advice drawn from her own experiences in the industry.“Danielle has a lot of experience, so she gave me many tips. I used to feel awkward in front of the camera, but Danielle advised me on poses and encouraged me to enjoy my emotions and activities, ” Olivia shared.

Olivia also emphasized the musical synergy between her and Danielle, noting they share similar tastes. A standout moment for them is their mutual affection for the song “42, ” which is imbued with nostalgic childhood memories.

Olivia’s new EP “Meanwhile” is set to captivate listeners with its release on February 13. The EP includes two lead tracks: “STRATEGY” and “BACKSEAT, ” alongside three additional songs. Notably, “STRATEGY” explores the dynamics of relationships, cleverly likening interactions between partners to strategic maneuvers, all framed within an energetic beat.
