Despite the conclusion of the Olympics, there are still thrilling tales emerging, including the victory of Noah Lyles, an American athlete, in the 100m sprint. However, he recently announced his intentions to shift his focus to a more leisurely activity after the games, as he returns to playing League of Legends.
Pau Echaniz, an Olympic athlete who won a bronze medal in the K1 Slalom, shared on Twitter/X that he was streaming League after his impressive performance at the games.
This bout to be me after the 4x100m

Following the question, Noah Lyles responded, “This is how I’ll be feeling after the 4x100m,”while also mentioning his enjoyment of playing Riot’s popular MOBA. As expected, the comments were flooded with enthusiastic fans of the game, eager to find out who his main character is.
Despite not providing any additional clarification on the extent of his fandom, Lyles has a known affinity for gaming, with a particular interest in the popular trading card game Yu-Gi-Oh!.
During the Track and Field Team Trials in June, Lyles surprised fans by revealing a Blue-Eyes White Dragon card that he had concealed in his sprint suit. He has previously showcased Exodia cards at official events and has even donned a duel disk for his entrance.
Regrettably for Lyles, he will have to postpone any thoughts of playing video games until he fulfills his obligations at the Paris Olympics. Despite this hindrance, he successfully secured a gold medal in the 100m event, crossing the finish line in an impressive time of 9.79 seconds. He narrowly edged out Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson in a thrilling photo finish.
After achieving that remarkable victory, he cleverly incorporated a subtle reference to Dragon Ball Z by striking a pose that would be instantly recognizable to fans of the popular series.
The 4x100m relay will be taking place next, with the heats scheduled for August 8. If the USA team advances to the final, he will also be required on Friday, August 9, leaving the entire weekend available for League of Legends.
