One Piece Actor Confirms Return in Joker 2 with Exciting Reveal

One Piece anime has been captivating audiences since 1999, and one of the seasoned stars has confirmed the return of Joker 2 with an exciting reveal.

Sanji, a prominent member of Luffy’s crew in One Piece, is celebrated as one of the most beloved characters. Serving as both the crew’s chef and the third strongest fighter alongside Luffy, Sanji’s voice has been provided by Hiroaki Hirata since the show’s inception.

Additionally, Hirata has lent his voice to numerous iconic characters, including Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Jason Bourne from The Bourne trilogy, and Joey Tribbiani from Friends. Notably, he is also the Japanese voice actor for Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.

Joker 2 is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024, with Hirata reprising his role as Arthur Fleck in the Japanese dub of the first film. The dubbed version will be available in Japanese cinemas.

Hirata shared an image of himself with half of his makeup applied, stating, “Actually…..It was energy-saving makeup. Joker 2 will be released nationwide on Friday, October 11th.”

In a separate post, he mentioned, “Special revelation corner to celebrate the announcement of the voice cast for Joker: Folie à Deux. This is a photo I used as a New Year’s greeting to commemorate the release of the previous film….”

One fan commented, “Sanji’s voice actor just shared this picture, getting fans excited for the release of Joker 2 as he will be voicing the main character in Japanese again, just like in the first Joker.”

Another fan replied, “You were only wearing makeup halfway! That’s called energy-saving makeup. Thank you for your hard work.”

“He’s so funny! But seriously, he’s going to voice Joker. I can’t wait to hear it soon,” shared another fan.
