After manhandling Vegapunk and being flattened by a pizza maker Luffy in Gear 5, Saturn decides to get down to business and summon the other members of the Gorosei in chapter 1109.
According to spoilers dropped on X/Twitter, readers will be able to witness the appearance of the Elders in their awakened form: because the antagonists all have Zoan type devil fruits, and not just any fruits. Indeed, they each have a Yokai appearance, like Saturn.
V. Nusjuro is a wild horse, while Ju Peter is a monstrous giant worm. As for Warcury, he appears in the form of a gigantic boar, alongside Marcus Mars who is an equally colossal bird.
The Elders will all attack Luffy, but the fight of the century will not continue for long, thanks to the arrival of the giant pirates who have come to help the captain. Which is probably not a bad thing: the straw hat hero may have gained in power to stand up to an Admiral and a Dean on his own, but nothing says he could survive five devil fruits awake, especially if they are Zoan fruits.
