One Piece: Chapter 1118 – Raw Scans Reveal a Second Nika Strike on Egghead Island in a Shocking Twist

The latest raw scans of One Piece chapter 1118 start off by highlighting Yamato’s cover story, as he leaves the Flower Capital and embarks on his pilgrimage. As the main story unfolds, the Iron Giant emerges and causes chaos by crashing into the ocean and destroying multiple Marine ships. The Transmission Transponder snail inside the Iron Giant relays a message from Dr. Vegapunk before the giant sinks into the sea.

The Iron Giant utters a few words before the perspective abruptly returns to Egghead, who is being observed by Saint Topman Warcury, a Gorosei member, as the Iron Giant plummets into the water. The attention then turns to the global reactions as Dr. Vegapunk’s broadcast comes to a close, with Alabasta and Dressrosa being among the locations that are prominently featured.

The Gorosei appear to disperse in order to chase after them, while attention is now on the Giant Warrior Pirates’ vessel. As the ship departs from Egghead, Dorry, Brogy, and Luffy all leap for it and successfully grab onto the side, joining the crew on board.

Afterwards, it is discovered that Bonney had transformed Vice Admirals Doll and Bluegrass into children in order for them to escape. Meanwhile, Luffy meets with Oimo and Kashii, while Nami and Sanji communicate through a Transponder Snail. As this is happening, a member of the Gorosei, Saint Marcus Mars, is shown approaching the ship of the Giant Warrior Pirates. However, Luffy becomes preoccupied with satisfying his hunger and heads to the kitchen for some food. This leaves the three Giants responsible for fending off Mars’ attack using their shields.

Despite the crew’s efforts to block the attack, the ship is still partially hit and catches fire in One Piece chapter 1118. As Mars prepares to launch another attack, Luffy suddenly reappears on the deck in his Gear 5 form, causing the ship and the surrounding waters to shake. Mars is taken aback by this unexpected turn of events, while Luffy converses with Bonney and encourages her to follow in his footsteps and become a Nika.

The last two pages of the chapter feature a large spread where Bonney transforms into her Nika form using her Devil Fruit abilities. This form bears a striking resemblance to Luffy’s Gear 5 form, complete with white curly hair, ring-like pupils, all white attire except for a colored sash, and a scarf of clouds around her neck and arms. She even copies Luffy’s iconic pose from the cover of volume 106, while Luffy can be seen laughing just as he did when Gear 5 was first revealed.

The nearby Marines and Giants are taken aback, as Mars looks on in disbelief. Luffy grins at him while Bonney appears to be speaking to Luffy. Gorosei members Saint Jaygarcia Saturn and Saint Shepherd Ju Peter sense the presence of the two Nika’s as the chapter comes to a close. In the final panel of the One Piece chapter 1118 raw scans, the Iron Giant can be seen reacting to the pair’s presence as it sinks into the sea.
