The newest installment, titled ‘Best Friend,’ opens with a cover page, continuing Yamato’s journey through Wano. In this chapter, Yamato is shown rescuing a woman’s life, although the specifics are still unknown.
However, in later chapters, Morgan is seen attempting to reveal the shocking conclusions of the recent battles: Kid’s defeat at the hands of Shanks, Law’s loss to Blackbeard, and Luffy’s involvement. His efforts are interrupted by Vivy, who forces him to remain silent.
Akainu reaches out to Egghead, who is then answered by Kizaru. Akainu points out Kizaru’s significant mistake in Egghead, which ultimately causes him to experience a breakdown. In response, Kizaru challenges Akainu to consider if he has ever had to kill his closest companion and suggests that if he has any doubts, he should come and witness it firsthand.
Surprising Revelations and Straw Hats Sail towards Elbaf
However, despite their failure to save Vegapunk, the Straw Hats are feeling down. But to their amazement, one of Dr. Vegapunk’s satellites, Lilith, suddenly awakens. She then consoles the pirates and reveals herself to be Vegapunk.
The Straw Hats Pirates are filled with boundless joy as they celebrate with Lilith. The chapter concludes with the crew setting sail towards Elbaf, the Island of Giants, marking the start of the highly anticipated arc of One Piece.
In the final frame, a shadowy figure can be spotted drinking on the shores of Elbaf, while whispering the word ‘come.’ The identity of this enigmatic individual has sparked numerous theories and will likely be revealed in upcoming chapters, potentially presenting a formidable obstacle for our beloved crew.
