The latest chapter of One Piece, Chapter 1130, primarily concentrated on the Straw Hat Pirates as they began to understand their surroundings after their escape from Road’s cage. Released this weekend, the chapter confirmed Luffy and his crew have indeed arrived on Elbaph.
This chapter marked the debut of Prince Loki, showcasing a character design that starkly contrasts his silhouette from the Whole Cake Island Arc. Additionally, Loki’s role appears to shift dramatically, positioning him as an antagonist rather than a partner in the unfolding narrative.

One Piece Chapter 1130: Arrival at Elbaph
Titled “The Accursed Prince,” One Piece Chapter 1130 kicked off by spotlighting its cover story. Yamato and Otama were depicted peacefully sleeping, while offscreen, an unknown individual pilfered Shimotsuki Yasuie’s sword from Yamato. This very sword was the catalyst for Yamato’s expedition in Wano.
Kicking off the main storyline, the chapter began with the Straw Hats still among the Giant Warrior Pirates. Franky urged Dorry, Brogy, and the other Giants to cease their search for Luffy’s group, expressing confidence in their well-being. The ship then resumed its journey toward Elbaph as the focus turned to Luffy and his companions.
After their escape from the LEGO kingdom, Chapter 1130 revealed that the crew found themselves in a frigid environment, exiting a colossal castle reminiscent of Bigstein Castle, perched atop towering mountains. Surrounding the castle were numerous large mountains and towering trees, complete with a rope bridge leading to a neighboring giant tree.
As they absorbed their surroundings, the crew spotted two Giants traversing the bridge—Gerd and Goldberg, who serve as doctor and cook for Hajrudin’s New Giant Warrior Pirates. They voiced their disdain for Road, likening him to Prince Loki, whom Gerd branded “the disgrace of Elbaph,” while still acknowledging Road’s exceptional navigational abilities.
Following this, Gerd consulted her owl named Piper, asking if it was certain that Road’s crow, Mugin, was carrying a small vessel. This exchange shed light on how Road persistently captured intruders to confine them within his LEGO domain. As Usopp and the crew reveled in being in Elbaph—connecting the giant tree to Yggdrasil—Luffy attempted to reach out to the Giants, unaware of their predicament.
Fortunately, Luffy and his comrades evaded detection as they crossed the vast bridge, during which they noticed massive wolves lurking in the forest below. Zoro questioned Luffy about his unease, to which Luffy confessed he felt something was amiss. This compelled him to leap down for a look, while Zoro attempted to follow but was halted by Sanji.
One Piece Chapter 1130: The True Nature of Prince Loki
The narrative soon returned to the Giant Warrior Pirates, where Dorry and Brogy discovered their bounties had escalated significantly. For their purported involvement in the destruction of Egghead Island alongside Luffy, each was assigned a staggering bounty of 1.8 billion Beri. The crew was astonished at the jump from 100 million to 1.8 billion, although Robin argued the new figure was justified given the elapsed time and their captain status.
Robin also revealed that Luffy was being accused of Dr. Vegapunk’s murder, which elicited laughter from Vegapunk Lilith. However, the Straw Hats became aware that Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation now displayed a peculiar X on his arm. Uncertain whether this mark was usual, Robin mentioned it appeared off due to the blur in his arm, contrasting with the clear X. She noted it looked familiar, but her crewmates encouraged her not to worry.
Chapter 1130 saw Dorry remark about Luffy’s status as equal to Shanks as a Yonko. The other Giants discussed Hajrudin’s position under their command, revealing his own royal lineage from Elbaph. They shared that he aspired to venture to Egghead to find the Straw Hats but was outvoted due to seniority.
The Giants expressed the need for vigilance in Elbaph, attributing the concern to the second prince, known as the “Accursed Prince,” alluded to in the chapter’s title. He was said to have shunned the light and was condemned to crucifixion years prior for his deeds. Despite attempting to escape, he was captured by all the warriors of Elbaph. Jinbe seemed to recognize him but was cut off by the Giants.
The Giants explained that he murdered his father, King Harold, in order to acquire a fabled Devil Fruit passed down through the royal family of Elbaph. They confirmed that Loki was indeed the figure they referenced, calling him the disgrace of Elbaph, warning that his return could bring ruin. The focus then returned to Luffy, encountering a giant bound to a tree, presumably linked to the troubling sensation he had been experiencing.
The giant prompted Luffy to announce his name, to which Luffy replied he is the future Pirate King. The giant then identified himself as Loki, confirming that they were indeed in Elbaph, concluding the chapter with a panoramic view of the island. The colossal Yggdrasil tree dominated the landscape, featuring a middle layer of branches where the Giants appeared to dwell, with an enormous sword embedding through the central layer down to the ground.
One Piece Chapter 1130: Final Thoughts
While Chapter 1130 announces a two-week hiatus for the series, it leaves fans with much to ponder and anticipate during the break. Most notably, the impending role of Loki in the Elbaph Arc will be a significant point of interest, along with the power he wields from the legendary Devil Fruit he possesses.
