Pudding’s betrayal was not only directed towards Sanji, but also the entire Straw Hat crew. Despite her secret desire to see them all killed, she initially appeared welcoming and invited the Sanji Retrieval Team into her café. During their encounter, she revealed some information about the Big Mom Pirates and Whole Cake Island.

Despite Pedro’s skepticism, the woman assured him that she would bring Sanji to their designated meeting spot, in order to gain their trust. However, once she met Sanji, she cunningly played the role of a helpless victim, taking advantage of his weak character and claiming he had forced her into marriage.

Her true intentions were revealed when she kidnapped Reiju and admitted to manipulating her brother’s emotions in order to gain his trust and ultimately kill him.

Unfortunately, Sanji overheard her conversation while standing outside with a bouquet of flowers for the Big Mom Pirates.

Why the Significance of Charlotte Pudding in One Piece Matters

Pudding’s importance in the series lies in her role as a member of the Third-Eye tribe, which is one of the most enigmatic races in the series. She made her appearance after the Whole Cake Island arc, adding to the intrigue surrounding the tribe, as little is known about them.

Despite Big Mom’s interrogation, it was uncovered that these tribe members possess the ability to read the Poneglyphs only at a specific point in their lives.

As many fans are aware, Nico Robin possesses the unique ability to read this historical document due to her strong ties to Ohara.

This brings us back to her appearance following the events of Whole Cake. After the potential downfall of Big Mom during the Wano arc, the Blackbeard Pirates invaded Whole Cake Island, which was now free from the rule of a Conqueror.

Not only did the pirates cause chaos, but they also abducted Pudding and took her along with them.

As anticipated, the pirates were well-informed of her newfound ability to read Poneglyphs and thus held her captive until they had located all of the Poneglyphs.

Additionally, Vegapunk hinted at the existence of rare races on the Grand Line during his stream, specifically mentioning the Three-Eyed tribe as one of the few remaining members of the Big Mom Pirate’s race.
