In the laboratory, Vegapunk discloses to Sanji’s team that he is being pursued by the World Government due to his exceptional intelligence. He has created countless innovations, such as Sea Prism Stones, Cyborg Animals, Pacifistas, Seraphim, and more, all of which have been highly beneficial to the government.

Therefore, the government would consider his death a major setback. Nevertheless, they would rather face this possibility than the potential danger of the world’s most powerful intelligence turning against them. He further asserts that the arrival of the Straw Hats was a stroke of luck as it provided him with the opportunity to flee alongside them.

At the laboratory, Vegapunk’s satellites detect the CP0’s attempt to cut off all possible escape routes from Egghead. While Shaka laments their inability to sneak out, Lilith is determined to retaliate. Despite Pythagorus’ reassurances of safety within the lab, Vegapunk recognizes that their ultimate objective is to escape but also acknowledges that a confrontation is unavoidable.

Despite Pythagorus’s proposal to seek assistance from their only remaining ally on Egghead, Edison quickly dismisses the idea, stating that the ally would be in danger if they were to reveal themselves. Despite this, Vegapunk shamelessly begs their secret ally for help, and the ally agrees.

With trust in the enigmatic ally’s capability to handle CP0, the satellites begin making arrangements for Vegapunk to board Straw Hat’s vessel and use Vegaforce-01 to transport it to the port.

Despite being seriously injured in the previous episode, Sentomaru managed to remain conscious and maintain control over the Seraphim. This ultimately led to Lucci’s second attack being thwarted by Luffy, who used a new technique called the Gum-Gum Dawn Whip. Additionally, Luffy showcased another new Gear 5 attack, known as the Gum-Gum Dawn Rocket, which rendered Lucci unconscious. In the aftermath, Luffy, accompanied by Chopper, Jinbe, Atlas, and Bonney, boarded the Vacuum Rocket and made their way to Vegapunk’s laboratory.

Despite Sentomaru falling unconscious, Lucci regained consciousness. During this time, Vegapunk disclosed to Sanji’s group that he had the ability to artificially produce Devil Fruits. He specified that only Zoan-type fruits were replicable, but he was unsure about their Awakening abilities.

Upon admitting his inability to replicate Logia types, he discovered that by obtaining the user’s Bloodline Elements, he could produce a unique Green Blood that would allow for the transfer of powers to another individual, specifically for Paramythia types.

After declaring the Seraphim as the ultimate form of human evolution, Vegapunk’s reasoning behind dissolving the Seven Warlords System became clear to Nami. She and the other Straw Hat members were quick to criticize Vegapunk for creating such formidable weapons for the Navy.
