In episode 1104 of One Piece, Vegapunk shares a flashback where he informs Kuma about a theory proposed by a scholar from West Blue. According to this theory, a person loses 21 grams upon death, representing the weight of the soul. Vegapunk then ponders if Kuma’s power, which can give physical form to intangible things like pain and transmit it to others, operates in a similar manner. He also contemplates the possibility of Kuma’s abilities extending to giving physical form to mental images and memories.

Despite Kuma’s reluctance, Vegapunk pleads with Bonney to ignore his personal paw-bubble, which is filled with enough pain to potentially kill someone. Kuma’s distrust of Vegapunk makes him hesitant to share such personal information.

In the upcoming One Piece episode 1104, Kaku unveils his Awakened Devil Fruit form after realizing the true extent of Zoro’s strength. Meanwhile, the Seraphim make their appearance on the battlefield, having snuck into the Labophase during a period of vulnerability in the defense system. As they are allies of CP0, this presents a daunting obstacle for both Zoro and Brook.

Shaka asserts their ability to lead the Seraphim and alter the outcome of the Labophase battle due to their higher rank than the CP0. As a result, Edison and Lilith depart for the battlefield, with Franky and Sanji following closely behind.

Despite being shot down by Navy soldiers, Kuma continues to climb towards Marijoa. He then manages to get back up and use his powers to defeat his enemies. Despite his exhaustion and serious injuries, he remains determined to continue on his journey.

Upon returning to the Labophase, Brook is taken aback by Kaku’s sudden transformation. However, Zoro is unfazed and ready to confront him. Kaku attempts to use his Haki-infused nose to attack, but Zoro, having honed his skills while battling Kaido in Wano, stands firm. Meanwhile, Lucci instructs the Seraphim to demolish all the labs before Vegapunk’s arrival, but quickly changes his orders upon receiving new commands.

Despite the initial round of the Seraphim’s attack causing chaos in the lab, they persist with their bombardment. While Kaku is entertained by the destruction, Stussy surprises him by rendering him unconscious. It is then revealed that Stussy is actually the first successful clone of MADS, designed after the likeness of Miss Buckingham Stussy, a former member of the notorious Rocks Pirates.

Despite being caught off guard by Stussy’s betrayal, Lucci quickly reacts by lunging towards her. However, she skillfully evades his attack with a technique known as Paper Art Afterimage. In a surprising turn of events, she reveals that her lipstick is actually a Sea Prism Stone and uses it to immobilize Lucci. As he falls unconscious from her bite to his neck, Lucci realizes the extent of her treachery.

This installment of One Piece covers the latter portion of manga chapter 1072 and the initial pages of chapter 1073. The animation style remains consistent, featuring delicate, flowing lines that elevate the intensity of the battle scenes and bring a fluidity to the characters’ movements. As a result, even the brief skirmish between Zoro and Kaku is visually stunning.

At present, the depiction of Stussy remains unsettling, with her fangs and wings. The animated version presents her as a enigmatic figure, constantly wearing a smile, even as blood drips from her mouth. It is revealed that she is the ally that Vegapunk had previously turned to for assistance. This revelation also sheds light on the Vegapunk satellites’ fear of her being pursued by the World Government for the remainder of her existence.

While searching, she stumbled upon a chamber with a massive paw-shaped bubble, clearly connected to Kuma. Concurrently, Kuma was scaling the Red Line while being targeted by the Navy.

In other parts of the globe, the Kid pirates stumbled upon Elbaph, the land of the Giants. The chapter concluded with Garp retrieving Helmeppo from the G-14 headquarters to embark on a mission to save Koby who was being held captive on the Pirate Island.
