One Piece Episode 1107 Recap
One Piece episode 1107 opened with Bonney encountering her father’s younger self as he was being surrounded by a group of armed individuals. He resisted and tearfully pleaded not to be taken somewhere, but the shadows insisted that they had to do so or else they would face death. Despite Bonney’s attempt to intervene, she was forcefully expelled from the memory world. She came to the realization that she was not emotionally strong enough to witness her father’s past, but she remained determined to do so.
As Vegapunk Pythagoras was on the search for Dr. Vegapunk, he suddenly found himself ambushed. The nearby Visual Transponder Snail witnessed the attack but was unable to show the assailant. This caused both Luffy and Shaka to lose communication with their respective crews, as various video feeds were disabled. Shaka suspected an intruder in the lab, while Franky, Usopp, Vegapunk York, and Vegapunk Lilith stumbled upon Pythagoras’ headless body.
Despite initially pretending to be decapitated, Pythagoras eventually revealed himself to be unharmed and in possession of a miniature, functioning body. He explained that he had been fortunate to not have his head attacked, as it would have resulted in his death. However, he hesitated to disclose what he had witnessed and who had attacked him. Before he could do so, S-Snake suddenly appeared and used her Devil Fruit powers to turn York into stone, leading to the end of the episode.
One Piece episode 1108: What to expect (speculative)
As S-Snake’s attack on York appears to mark the beginning of betrayal, One Piece episode 1108 should address the possibility of a traitor among the Vegapunks. This is due to their control over the Seraphim, implying that if they are unable to stop the Seraphim, then someone with similar authority must be manipulating them.
In addition, the upcoming episode 1108 should provide hints about the identity of the traitor. Despite appearing to be safe for the time being, York was the first target of S-Snake and may not be completely out of danger. Moreover, Pythagoras’ reluctance to share his own experience suggests the possibility that he could be behind the recent and unfortunate incidents.
