As Eustass Kid and the Kidd Pirates arrived at the bay of Elbaf Island, they were confronted by the subordinate captains of the Red Hair Pirates. These included Gerotini of the Puddle Pirates, Fugar of the Social Club, and Pururu of the Bourgeois Pirates, who attempted to halt Captain Kid’s progress.

Eustass Kid grew increasingly frustrated with these pirates, longing to confront a true challenge. The scene then shifted to Elbaf Island in One Piece episode 1112, where Shanks was making preparations to depart. However, the island’s inhabitants were reluctant to see him go.

After bidding everyone a proper farewell, he advised them to steer clear of the bay where his subordinates were keeping the Kid Pirates at bay. Shanks then boarded his ship and requested his crewmates for updates on the Kid Pirates. Hongo handed his captain a pad containing all the information about Eustass Kid.

Eustass Kid took center stage in One Piece episode 1112. He readied a gun-like weapon using his devil fruit powers to blast through the subordinate pirates obstructing his path. Once the weapon was charged, Eustass Kid fired it at the pirates, completely pulverizing them.

Thankfully, Shanks’ Future Sight had kicked in and Kid had not yet fired his gun at any of the subordinate groups of the Red Hair Pirates. In anticipation of potential danger, Shanks quickly made his way towards Kid and unsheathed his sword, Gryphon.

Upon Shanks’ arrival, Eustass Kid was on the brink of firing his gun. However, Shanks swiftly charged towards the member of the Worst Generation and caught him off guard. Utilizing Conqueror’s Haki, Shanks imbued his sword Gryphon and unleashed a powerful strike known as Divine Departure upon Kid.

The impact of the attack launched Eustass Kid into the air and also had an effect on the other members of the Kid Pirates, as Conqueror’s Haki was involved. The conscious members of the crew, unwilling to lose their leader, decided to offer up the Road Poneglyph copy they had obtained from Trafalgar Law in Wano.

Once he had obtained the copy, Shanks departed from the ship, but the situation was far from resolved. Dory and Brogy took a firm stance and cautioned the Kid Pirates against underestimating an adversary who could fight back. The giants then unleashed their powerful attack, Hakoku Sovereignty, effectively splitting the Kid Pirates’ ship in half. As a result, Eustass Kid was thrown into the river by the end of the episode.
