In the 1113th episode of One Piece, Perona manages to obtain the keys to Koby’s cell, where he is restrained by a ball and chain. She proposes to set him free under the condition that he aids her in freeing Moria, who is also confined. This puts Koby, a member of the Navy, in a difficult situation as it would require him to work with a pirate. Nevertheless, Moria’s safety is at stake.

As news of Koby’s escape spreads throughout Pirate Island, Pizarro cautions the pirates against harming any escapees as it could anger Blackbeard. When Shiryu asks why he doesn’t personally capture them, Pizarro reveals that his methods often cause destruction, which would only further enrage Blackbeard. Vasco Shot offers an alternative solution of setting the entire place on fire to prevent the escapees from finding a place to hide.

Meanwhile, the escaped slaves, feeling disheartened, implore Koby to escape without them, knowing they would only hinder his escape. Despite their suggestion, Koby has a different strategy – he intends to act as a decoy to facilitate the escape of others.

In One Piece episode 1113, a flashback reveals Blackbeard’s goal to transform Pirate Island into a nation allied with the World Government, with himself as the ruler. He intends to use Koby as leverage, but Koby points out that the government does not negotiate with criminals.

According to Koby, he is a member of SWORD, indicating that he has relinquished his Navy Code in order to fight the Sea Emperors without seeking official approval. This allows him to aid the Navy in achieving its objectives without holding them accountable for the outcome.

Despite his curiosity about the Government’s reaction, Blackbeard remains resolute in his plan. He is determined to see if they will truly abandon Koby, who is widely regarded as a hero.

Currently, members of the Navy have reached Pirate Island and have initiated an assault on the soldiers stationed there. The events come to a close with the revelation that Kujaku, Tashigi, and even Garp have all arrived with the intention of rescuing Koby.

The cinematic atmosphere of One Piece episode 1113 is enhanced by an anime-only scene in which Perona confronts prison guards engrossed in a card game by a lantern in a dark dungeon. The use of vivid colors and eerie background music effectively portrays the spookiness of Perona’s Devil Fruit abilities.

Just as impressive, the portrayal of Koby’s encounter with Blackbeard is visually stunning. The flickering torches create elongated shadows, giving the impression of a menacing pirate with ominous motives, which perfectly captures Blackbeard’s character.

In addition, the appearance of Garp on Pirate Island is an exhilarating event for One Piece enthusiasts, foreshadowing an upcoming significant confrontation.

In the previous installment, it was disclosed that York had orchestrated the assault on the majority of the residents of Egghead through the Seraphim. In order to cleverly deflect any suspicion from herself, she had instructed S-Snake to also turn her to stone.

The scene shifted to Elbaph, where the Kid Pirates were suddenly under siege from the allies of the Red Hair Pirates. Kid’s frustration was mounting, as he had been hoping for a chance to face Shanks head-on, something he had regretfully missed during their previous encounter.

Despite Kid preparing his Damned Punk for an attack that had the potential to wipe out Shanks’ entire fleet, Shanks was quick to retaliate with Divine Departure, swiftly defeating Kid. As a result, Dorry and Brogy’s ship was sunk.
