Additionally, Gyuki possesses the ability to produce poison from its claws, further solidifying its connection to the ushi-oni.

2. Saint Marcus Mars

Saint Marcus Mars is reimagined as “itsumade” , a monstrous creature with avian characteristics. Its human face is accompanied by a curved beak and sharp, menacing teeth, resulting in a deeply unsettling appearance.

After undergoing the transformation, Marcus now has a serpent-like form and sharp claws, which he uses to attack Labophase. Little else has been disclosed about his newfound powers.

3. The Reign of Saint Ethanbaron V Nusjuro

Saint Ethan, the final one to take on the appearance of a Japanese yokai, was reintroduced as “bakotsu”, a mythical creature that originated from a horse’s fiery demise. According to the tale, Ethan’s physical manifestation is that of a skeletal horse.

He is capable of transforming his upper body into human form and wielding his sword in combat. He demonstrated his proficiency by unleashing powerful slashes that were able to freeze half of the Pacifista.

4. Saint Topman Warcury’s Biography

Saint Topman takes on the form of the renowned Chinese mythical figure known as “hoki,”also commonly referred to as “fengxi.”Saint Warcury is once again depicted as a massive boar with large tusks, his signature mustache still intact.

Despite limited information, it is said in the legend that fengxi, a two-headed boar, is known to cause fear and destruction among humans with its powerful abilities.

5. Saint Ju Peter, the Shepherd Saint

Finally, Saint Sheperd makes a reappearance in the shape of a colossal sandworm, a creature not found in Japanese or Chinese legends. It is speculated that it may have been influenced by the Mongolian Death Worm.

Peter has only been observed burrowing underground at Egghead. It is possible to infer that he is getting ready for either an ambush or a subterranean assault.

The Gorosei’s Devil Fruits

While the names of the devil fruits are not explicitly mentioned, the shadows in the manga panel hint at their true forms, which were inspired by Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits.
