Exploring the Possibility of Bonney and Franky Having Haki in One Piece
Based on the spoilers, the upcoming chapter of One Piece, titled “Emeth,”will feature Kaku and Stussy fleeing from Egghead Island. Kaku will mock Stussy for considering him a friend. Meanwhile, on the Giants’ side, two Nika personalities will be seen attacking Saint Marcus.
Despite the absence of Nami’s and Zoro’s groups, the Iron Giant suddenly stirs in the depths of the water, and Vegapunk’s stream resumes. This time, his words are distorted and difficult to comprehend, but he persists in speaking about the D clan. The reactions of Whole Cake Island are still evident.
When the 2 Nika charged towards Saint Marcus, he wasted no time and collided with Luffy, who had taken on the form of a balloon. Luffy then instructed his fellow crewmates that defeating the Gorosei would be a challenging task, and they needed to launch him as far away as they could. With that, he inflated himself and requested Sanji, Bonney, and Franky to unleash their attacks on him.
Despite their initial hesitation, they ultimately joined forces to launch a coordinated attack on Luffy. Sanji unleashed Ifrit Jambe: Hell Memories, Bonney utilized Nika Punch, and Franky delivered a powerful blow with Strong Impact Right.
As the Gorosei struck Luffy, he voiced his discomfort, yet he was propelled towards them. Utilizing his resilient body, he launched Saint Marcus high into the air.
As stated by Rayleigh during the time skip, the only way to harm devil fruit users is through the use of Haki. Rayleigh proved this by utilizing Armament Haki to strike Luffy, causing him to experience pain.
Chapter 1119 reveals that Luffy experiences discomfort from the assaults of Sanji, Bonney, and Franky, despite Sanji being the only one known to possess Haki. This could potentially indicate that both Bonney and Franky possess Haki abilities, specifically the ability to utilize Armament Haki.
Concluding Remarks
Similarly to the previous chapter where Nika transformed into Bonney, this one also surprised the fandom as Franky and Bonney were unexpectedly revealed to be Haki users. For further clarification on this, it is recommended to wait for the chapter to be officially translated upon its release.
Despite having Haki, it is not surprising that these two possess this ability, as they have spent a considerable amount of time on the Grand Line. This is particularly true for Franky, who is a member of a crew that is well-versed in using Haki.
