Currently in production, the second season of Netflix’s One Piece live-action has been confirmed to feature a beloved character, bringing excitement to fans.
After the initial success of the first season, Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga, One Piece, was adapted into a Netflix series. It follows the story of a young pirate named Monkey D. Luffy, who sets out to become the Pirate King. Due to its worldwide popularity, a second season was confirmed by Oda.
Season 2 will follow Luffy as he embarks on his journey into the Grand Line to find the fabled treasure. One Piece is known for its lengthy storyline, with the manga currently on its 11th and final saga. The first season covered five arcs from the East Blue Saga, and it is expected that the upcoming season will include the Loguetown Arc and the Arabasta Saga.
It has been officially announced that Portgas D. Ace will make an appearance in Season 2. As Luffy’s older brother, he first appears in the Arabasta Saga and has gained a strong following among One Piece fans since his debut as a popular pirate in the Grand Line.

The casting for the second season of Netflix’s show has not been announced yet, nor has the list of arcs that will be adapted. It is expected that the new season will deviate from the main story, leading fans to speculate that Ace will only make a cameo appearance in a flashback.
One fan points out, “Despite the hate, Ace remains one of the coolest pre-time skip characters. Let’s see the haters try to make jokes about that.”
Another Twitter user, expressed their desire for Arabasta to be the focus of Season 3, hoping that the mention of Drum Island was just a tease.
Another fan expressed their excitement for the upcoming season, saying, “Who will be playing these roles? This cast is crucial to me, especially Robin.”
A fan speculates, “So does this mean we will definitely see Alabasta? Or are they referring to a flashback on Drum Island?”
