One Piece Season 2 Live-Action Series Reveals Robin Actress, Fans Excited

One Piece enthusiasts have eagerly anticipated news regarding the casting of Nico Robin, and the latest update has certainly met their expectations.

The much-anticipated Netflix live-action adaptation of the One Piece manga is gearing up for the release of Season 2. As fans look forward to a new trailer and the upcoming release date, it seems the actress who will portray Nico Robin has been officially unveiled.

In this adaptation, Robin is set to be portrayed as a villain, serving as the right-hand to Warlord Crocodile. She was first introduced as Miss All Sunday during the Whiskey Peak Arc, which is the initial island the Straw Hat Pirates encountered in the Grand Line.

While the locals welcomed the pirates as heroes, there is much more to this enigmatic island than appears on the surface. Netflix appears to have confirmed that the role of Nico Robin will be played by Lera Abova, a Russian actress and model.

Although this information was reportedly shared on Netflix’s official site, it has since been removed. Nevertheless, the news has continued to spread across social media platforms.

As highlighted by a popular One Piece fan account, “Btw, the new cast information was mistakenly posted on Netflix’s official website, only to be deleted minutes later lol.”

“They messed up by withholding the reveal for too long; the leak was inevitable,”commented one user in response.

Despite the circumstances, excitement surrounding the casting news is palpable. One fan exclaimed, “Wooo! A Russian! This casting is impressive; I can envision her embodying Robin effectively!”

“She looks perfect,”stated another fan, while a third added, “Well, she has the sharp demeanor of a sinister and mysterious character, which aligns well with Robin’s persona in Arabasta.”
