One Piece’s Advantage Over Naruto and Bleach, According to Fans

Anime enthusiasts believe that One Piece excels at one specific aspect compared to other popular series in the ‘Big Three’ category, such as Naruto and Bleach.

The ‘Big Three’ of the anime industry, consisting of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece, Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto, and Tite Kubo’s Bleach, are highly acclaimed and influential manga and anime series that have gained immense popularity over time.

Despite numerous comparisons over the years, both One Piece and Naruto have their own individual strengths and weaknesses. However, there is one aspect that fans universally agree on: the ultimate antagonist in each series. According to popular consensus, One Piece reigns supreme in this category.

Despite Naruto’s reputation for well-written antagonists, it may come as a surprise to many that the main villain in the final arc is revealed to be Kaguya Otsutsuki, a deity-like being and the original source of chakra. Despite her immense strength, she ultimately falls short in comparison to the likes of Pain, Obito, and Madara.

Despite Bleach’s final antagonist being Yhwach, he is not the strongest character in the series. He is incredibly overpowered, to the point where even the author struggled to find a way for Ichigo to defeat him. However, Yhwach still falls short in comparison to Aizen, who is without a doubt the greatest villain in the story.

Despite disappointing fans with their final antagonists, Naruto and Bleach, One Piece is expected to have a satisfying conclusion. Even though the manga is not yet finished, it is already confirmed that Luffy will confront Blackbeard in the final arc of the story.

Similar to Luffy, Blackbeard is a pirate with the ultimate goal of becoming the King of Pirates. However, unlike our hero, he possesses a villainous nature. In contrast to Kaguya and Yhwach, who only appear in the final arc, Blackbeard has been carefully developed as a long-standing antagonist over the years. In essence, he is the complete opposite of Luffy.

This is why Blackbeard and One Piece stand out compared to the villains in Naruto and Bleach. Numerous fans have noticed this and have also expressed disappointment with how the final antagonists were portrayed in the other two anime.

According to one fan who tweeted, One Piece will be the only Big 3 manga to have a satisfying final antagonist. Another fan chimed in, stating that Kaguya is one of the weakest antagonists they have encountered in a manga.

According to a third person, it has been a quadrillion chapters since Luffy and Blackbeard have had any interaction. They speculate that this may be intentional, as both characters have a similar goal but are taking different paths, and may eventually meet in the end.

It has been noted by some that Naruto does not conclude with the heroes’ triumph over Kaguya. Instead, the ultimate battle takes place between Naruto and Sasuke. However, Sasuke is not viewed as a villain, as his role is more that of an anti-hero.
