One Piece’s Elbaf Arc and the Possible Return of Enel: A Theory

Enel, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated villains in One Piece, is eagerly awaited to make his return. His previous appearance in the anime was during the Skypiea arc’s finale, where he successfully boarded Ark Maxim and was last seen heading towards the Moon. Since then, the author has continued his tale through the manga’s cover stories, revealing that Enel has reached the Moon and formed a new army.

As the series approaches its final saga and potentially its last arc, the Elbaf arc, it is crucial for the God of Skypiea to make a timely return. The discovery of one of the Ancient Weapons through Vegapunk’s message adds further significance to his return at this point in the story. However, if he delays any longer, it may be too late.

Enel, armed with a fresh army, had the potential to launch an assault on Elbaf due to his rumored connection with Loki. The only one who could stand in his way was a pirate believed to hail from the same birthplace as the God of Skypiea.

During the Skypiea arc, Enel was the main antagonist and one of the most formidable adversaries in One Piece. He used his abilities to conquer the Skypiea Islands and engaged in a fierce battle against the Straw Hats.

Enel’s abilities revolved around his devil fruit and mantra skill. By consuming the Rumble-Rumble Logia devil fruit, he gained the power to control lightning and bestowed his body with its properties. Although Mantra is essentially Observation Haki, it was not known as such on the Skypiea Islands, leading Enel to be perceived as a deity because of this unique ability.

Despite being defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, who used a gold-covered fist to impale him, Enel refused to accept defeat. He regained consciousness and boldly declared that he would return to conquer Fairy Vearth (Moon) one day. However, his defeat at the hands of the Straw Hat Pirates still stood.

Enel’s journey continued in the manga’s cover stories, where he found himself on the moon and confronted the Space Pirates. After resolving their conflict, Enel formed an army comprised of both pirates and moon robots known as automata.

The Egghead arc marked the beginning of the final saga in One Piece, and in the current manga series, Vegapunk’s ongoing message about the ‘truth of the world’ has been revealed. One of his recent discoveries was the World Government’s possession of an Ancient Weapon, which they utilized to destroy the Lulusia Kingdom.

Despite having no prior knowledge of these weapons, Enel was now determined to seek revenge against the Straw Hat Pirates. His first step was to obtain the Ancient Weapons, but he had to decide where on Earth he should return to in order to carry out his plan.

Loki, the prince of Elbaf Island, may have a brotherly bond with Enel due to a possible connection through Norse mythology. In this mythology, both Loki and Thor hold important positions as guards and share a close brotherly relationship, depending on one another. However, Loki’s mischievous nature caused a rift between them, ultimately resulting in Ragnarok, the apocalypse.

It could be said that Prince Loki of Elbaf was akin to Thor, and Enel was similar to Loki. Enel’s return to Elbaf was driven by his desire to conquer and claim it as his new home on Earth, mirroring his actions on Skypiea Island. This could lead to a confrontation between Enel and Prince Loki, much like the one between Loki and Thor during the Ragnarok.

Urouge’s Epic Battle with Enel

Urouge is a member of the Worst Generation of Pirates and many believe that he hails from Birka, the same location as Enel. It is possible that Enel banished him to the Grand Line after wreaking havoc on the island with his devil fruit powers.

Urouge, while on the Grand Line, formed a formidable crew and established himself as one of the most powerful pirate groups in the world. Given the potential return of Enel, Urouge may resurface, as his last sighting was at the beginning of the Wano arc where he and his crew witnessed Kaido’s attempted act of self-harm.

However, it should be noted that this theory is purely speculative, whether it’s the connection between Loki and Enel or the possibility of Urouge sharing the same origins as Enel. Therefore, it’s best to approach this with skepticism and view it simply as a form of entertainment.
