One Punch Man Artist Reveals Estimated Release Date Window for Season 3

As enthusiasts of One Punch Man eagerly anticipate the arrival of Season 3, manga creator Yusuke Murata has provided hints regarding the expected release timeline.

The excitement is building for fans of One Punch Man, who have been on the edge of their seats since the last season premiered in 2019. Updates on the series have been scarce during this intervening period.

Originally, the anime launched in 2015 thanks to studio Madhouse, while its second season came from J.C. Staff in 2019. The same animation studio is preparing to handle the production for this highly awaited third season.

After nearly five years of anticipation, February 2024 will bring fresh news about the new season, revealed on the official website, which has debuted a special announcement teaser along with details about the animation studio and key staff members involved.

Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation regarding the release date, speculation is spreading that it could premiere in 2025.

On October 16, an anime-focused Twitter/X account posted, “TV Anime One Punch Man Season 3 is projected for a 2025 release according to a trustworthy Weibo source!”

They further clarified, “Please note that this information is not verified and should be regarded only as speculation for now; we encourage you to await the official announcement.”

The following day, the same account highlighted that Yusuke Murata, the artist behind One Punch Man, had retweeted their post. While this doesn’t definitively verify the rumor, it does suggest that there’s a possibility we might see Season 3 debut in 2025.
