One Punch Man Chapter 201: Hints at the Existence of a Multiverse with Empty Void’s Dimension Slash

The revamped portion of the Ninjas Arc has come to an end with the release of the redrawn One Punch Man chapter 201. Although the overall events remain largely unchanged, there have been some significant alterations to the story. One notable change is the use of Empty Void’s Dimension Slash technique, which suggests the existence of a multiverse within the One Punch Man universe.

Ever since the manga series introduced the concept of God and other dimensions, fans have been speculating about the possibility of S-Class hero Blast visiting different universes. Despite this, there has been a lack of solid evidence to support these theories. The recently revised chapter 201 of One Punch Man suggested the presence of a multiverse within the series’ universe by showcasing Empty Void’s Dimension Slash technique.

Despite being saved by Speed-o’-Sound Sonic from God’s temptation, Flashy Flash joined forces with the ninja to confront Empty Void. Fans were anticipating a two-on-one battle, but Empty Void unexpectedly emerged from their dimension and entered the astral space beyond the universe’s causality.

This maneuver resulted in the manifestation of a bubble-like entity containing the dimensions of Speed-o’-Sound Sonic and Flashy Flash. The manga further elaborated on the concept of parallel worlds, where each possibility continuously branches out like foam. By possessing the ability to transcend dimensions, Empty Void could manipulate them like bubbles and employ a unique jutsu to intervene from the outside.

Empty Void’s Dimension Slash technique allowed him to attack dimensions while remaining outside the causality of the universe. All he had to do was swing his sword at the bubbles that represented the manifested dimensions.

This action suggested that there may be a multiverse within the One Punch Man universe, as Empty Void’s presence beyond the universe’s causality revealed that Sonic and Flash’s Dimension was not the only visible “dimension bubble”in the astral plane.

According to the manga’s explanation, infinite possibilities branch out into parallel worlds, continuously bubbling forth like foam. This demonstrates the existence of parallel worlds in the series, each of which exists outside the causality of the universe in the form of bubbles.

This implies that every bubble symbolizes a distinct dimension or universe. Therefore, the revised One Punch Man Chapter 201 may have further validated the presence of a multiverse within the story’s universe.
