One Punch Man Chapter 202: Major Spoilers to Expect

After a two-month break, manga artist Yusuke Murata has confirmed that the manga series will resume with One Punch Man chapter 202 on Thursday, August 22, 2024. As many fans may recall, the series had previously announced a revamp of the Ninjas Arc and began publishing previously released chapters with alterations.

Despite the manga being close to revealing an unseen part of the story, it suddenly went on hiatus, leaving fans craving for more. Fortunately, the hiatus will soon come to an end and we have compiled a list of predictions for the upcoming manga chapter.

Note: This article may include spoilers from the One Punch Man manga and original webcomic.

As readers may recall, the previous chapter of the manga concluded with the arrival of S-Class Hero Blast at the site of the battle between Empty Void and ninjas Speed-o’-Sound Sonic and Flashy Flash. Given that both ninjas were significantly weaker than the former leader of their village, it is likely that Blast will take over the fight in order to confront his ex-partner.

Clearly, Blast had been studying monsters in order to discover a solution for reversing Empty Void’s transformation into a monster. As a result, the next chapter may show Blast confronting his former colleague and trying to persuade him to come to the Hero Association headquarters in an effort to return him to his human form.

Despite previously depicting Blast and Empty Void engaged in conflict, the manga series has yet to explore the possibility of the two partners joining forces. Many fans are eager to learn the story behind Empty Void’s transformation into The Great One, and a backstory could not only enhance the overall plot but also provide depth to Empty Void’s character and values.

If Yusuke Murata does indeed take this path, viewers can anticipate glimpses into the shared history of Blast and Empty Void. Subsequently, the manga may shift its focus to Empty Void and detail his relationship with God and his journey as one of his disciples. This could potentially give fans a comprehensive understanding of Empty Void’s initial appearance.

As fans may recall, Flashy Flash departed for the secret location alone after receiving a letter from Speed-o’-Sound Sonic to settle their rivalry. Meanwhile, Blast remained on standby and Saitama chose to indulge in some curry udon with Manako.

It appears that Blast had appeared at the battlefield. The question remains whether Saitama accompanied him or remained at the Hero Association Headquarters. We can only hope that the manga will provide an update on this matter. Depending on the outcome, fans may or may not witness Saitama battling Empty Void in the upcoming One Punch Man chapter 202.
