The recent update to Fortnite introduced a brand new weapon, causing worry among players due to its powerful damage capabilities.
In Fortnite, the meta is always evolving due to frequent updates that not only introduce new weapons, but also alter the loot pool for existing ones. In Chapter 5, Season 3, the game has introduced Mythic Nitro Cars and various vehicle mods, causing the vehicle meta to become prominent in the Battle Royale mode.
Despite recent nerfs, many players believe that an old “boring”meta is making a comeback due to the introduction of new weapons in the latest update. One of these weapons is the Heavy Impact Sniper which has the ability to one-shot enemies.
The Heavy Impact Sniper was recently introduced, and in a Reddit thread featuring a clip of its capabilities, some players expressed concern.

The video demonstrates that the Heavy Impact Sniper has the ability to instantly eliminate an opponent upon revealing their head, bringing back memories of the infamous sniper-dominated gameplay of the past.
Despite its drawbacks, such as a slow reload and significant bullet drop, the weapon can be a nightmare to deal with when in the hands of a skilled player or cheater.
