The Jackal PDW is quickly emerging as one of the top weapons in the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta, and it is available from the start. To fully utilize its potential, it is important to understand the best attachments, class setup, and specialties, as well as the most effective perks.
It appears to be a recurring tradition for Call of Duty games to feature an overpowered SMG upon release, and the Jackal PDW in the Black Ops 6 beta is no exception. When compared to all other weapons in the game, this one stands out for its ability to tear through enemies.
This gun has it all – great hipfire, low TTK, and exceptional performance at mid-range, exceeding what is typically expected from an SMG. The only challenge is keeping the kick under control.
Luckily, utilizing the top Jackal PDW loadout can aid in this situation. The necessary perks and attachments are listed below to obtain one of the most dominant weapons in the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta.
Best Black Ops 6 Beta Jackal PDW Loadout
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Rear Grip: CQB Grip
- Optic: Merlin Reflex
- Note: Optic is up to personal preference, go with something close range. If you don’t mind the Jackal PDW’s ironsights, go with the Balanced Stock here instead.
The Jackal PDW is a reliable option, no matter what attachments you use, but it truly excels when paired with the appropriate attachments.
The Compensator and Long Barrel are the standout features of this SMG, with the latter giving it a similar effectiveness to an Assault Rifle at longer distances, and the Compensator aiding in maintaining accuracy during mid-range battles.
As for the first version of the Extended Mag for the Jackal, the fire rate is not particularly high. However, with a 40-round extended mag, you will have the ability to easily take down 3 to 4 enemies with each magazine without any difficulty. This gun was designed for efficient clip farming. The second version of the Extended Mag, however, decreases your ADS speed, so only choose it if you truly believe you require the additional shots.
The CQB Grip is essential for those who intend to be on the move. It significantly enhances Sprint to Fire Speed, Slide to Fire Speed, and Dive to Fire Speed, allowing you to fully utilize the advantages of Omnimovement.
When it comes to optics, a lot of it is based on personal preference. You can either stick with what you prefer, or opt for the Balanced Stock to gain bonus movement speed.
Top Loadout for the Jackal PDW
In order to maximize the potential of the Jackal PDW, it is recommended to choose the Enforcer Class Specialty. This will provide a temporary boost to your movement speed and health regeneration, allowing you to quickly move through the map and earn kills without the need to hide and regenerate. Furthermore, equipping specific perks will further enhance the effectiveness of this specialty:
Do anything you can to get that Enforcer Class Specialty. You’ll need 3 red perks to get there.
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Dexterity
- Perk 3: Double Time
- Perk 4: Gung-Ho
- Note: You’ll have to run the Perk Greed Wildcard in order to get four perks like this. If you haven’t unlocked a Wildcard slot yet, take Assassin in Perk Slot 1. Enforcer is worth it.
- Lethal: Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Concussion
- Field Upgrade: Assault Pack/Trophy System
Having Ghost on a run-and-gun class is highly advantageous, although it may require some maneuvering to acquire the perk while maintaining the Enforcer Class Specialty.
Dexterity will decrease your weapon’s movement when jumping, sliding, and diving to help you stay on target, Double Time will provide you with longer Tactical Sprint duration, and Gung-Ho combined with Perk Greed will decrease the penalty to your movement when reloading or using equipment, and also allow you to reload while using Tactical Sprint.
If you are new and have not yet unlocked Wildcards to set up this configuration, you can choose Assassin as your first slot solely to obtain the Enforcer specialty.
