Oshi no Ko Chapter 160: Hikaru Kamiki’s Attempt on Ruby’s Life and Aqua’s Original Revenge Strategy

The recent release of Oshi no Ko chapter 160 features a pivotal confrontation between Aqua Hoshino and Hikaru Kamiki regarding the latter’s deceits. Hikaru, who previously portrayed himself as innocent and claimed he never harmed Ai, faced revelation through Fuyuko Niino’s confession.

In the prior chapter, Akane Kurokawa heroically saved Ruby Hoshino by stepping in and thwarting Niino’s murder scheme. Ichigo played a crucial role in stopping her. Meanwhile, Hikaru was seemingly engrossed in a live performance by B-Komachi on his phone when Aqua approached him for a confrontation.

Chapter 160 begins with Hikaru Kamiki defending his actions, insisting he has never harmed anyone. However, he instigated Fuyuko Niino and Ryosuke Sugano to carry out his malicious plans. His constant mention of Ai kept her at the forefront of their minds.

Hikaru continued to lie to Aqua, stating that his discussions with Ryosuke and Niino were merely out of fondness. Aqua, however, was unconvinced. He pointed out that despite being aware of Niino’s fragile mental state, Hikaru never tried to prevent her from getting close to Ruby.

Aqua then accused his father of attempting to murder Ruby Hoshino. Hikaru manipulated Niino and Ryosuke into committing crimes, thereby ensuring that his own hands remained clean. Aqua viewed these manipulative actions as more reprehensible than those of an actual murderer.

This confrontation caused Hikaru to notice the similarity in Aqua’s eyes, acknowledging Aqua’s potential for deception like his own. Aqua agreed, yet highlighted that Ruby was different and filled with love, using her talent to uplift others through music. After realizing Hikaru’s plots against Ruby, Aqua lost control and resolved to carry out his original plan of revenge: to kill his father.
