According to the initial spoilers for Oshi no Ko Chapter 165, the chapter begins with Fuyuko Niino being arrested, where she admits her involvement in the situation. It appears that she wasn’t acting alone, as there were others duped by Hikaru Kamiki, along with additional victims.

The focus then shifts to Akane Kurokawa, who reflects on Aqua’s cautious nature, noting that he had refrained from leaving her a letter that outlined his true intentions to safeguard Ruby Hoshino’s future.

The spoilers then transition to the scene of Aqua Hoshino’s open-casket funeral. Kana Arima gazes at Aqua’s preserved visage and unexpectedly slaps him. Before the shock could settle, Miyako Saitou, Aqua’s adoptive mother, retaliated by slapping Kana, her disbelief evident.

Overwhelmed by grief, Kana wept uncontrollably. Notably, in Oshi no Ko Chapter 146, she had once told Aqua not to discuss his suicidal thoughts, cursing and vowing to forget him if he succumbed to despair. This promise became the reason behind her actions; she felt betrayed that Aqua had spoken of death despite her plea.

In her sorrow, Kana expressed her regret at not having confessed her feelings to him and begged for his return. Soon after, Akane rushed to support Kana, who was on the verge of collapsing from her tears.

Kana had been searching for Aqua’s white glow stick at a recent concert, but she couldn’t find it. Regarding the contentious 15-Year Lie film, debates about its release raged on, but Director Taishi Gotanda insisted on proceeding with it. Tragically, the news of Aqua’s death contributed to the film’s unexpected success.

Despite the tragedy, Akane observed that Ruby would typically be unable to face the public again, yet she believed the Hoshino family was resilient.
