Oshi no Ko Final Chapter Release Date Announcement

Oshi no Ko is nearing its conclusion, with the manga having recently revealed the release date for its final chapter. Here’s what you should know.

Oshi no Ko has gained immense popularity as an idol-themed manga and anime that explores the darker side of the entertainment world. Since its anime premiere in 2023, it has captured audiences and consistently ranked at the top of popularity charts.

The second season aired its final episode on October 6, 2024, and a third season has already been confirmed. While the anime continues to engage fans, the manga has announced it will conclude soon. Presently, the series boasts 162 chapters, with plans to wrap up in Chapter 166.

The concluding arc, titled Toward the Stars and Dreams, delves into the aftermath of the film The 15-Year Lie. Members of B-Komachi chase their dreams while preparing for a climactic confrontation with Hikaru Kamiki, revealing the full extent of the overarching conspiracy.

According to a well-known source, “The last chapter of Oshi no Ko will debut on November 14, 2024, in Weekly Young Jump magazine! The final Volume 16 will be available on December 18, 2024!”

Fan reactions are notably mixed; while some expected the story to wrap up sooner, others express sadness at the impending farewell to a beloved series. “I was starting to wonder when we would receive this news since the last few chapters felt very conclusive,” remarked one follower.

Another fan commented, “Only 4 chapters left? I’m uncertain about what Aka plans to do, but please don’t mess it up; I’m pleading.”

“Aside from one part of the plot, Oshi no Ko has delivered an incredible journey from start to finish. I eagerly anticipate what Aka will create next,” said a third fan.
