After Aqua’s confrontation with Hikaru Kamiki, Oshi no Ko reveals the actor who will portray the main antagonist in the final arc.
The primary plot of Oshi no Ko revolves around the death of Ai Hoshino and her son’s quest for vengeance against those responsible. While Ai was killed by a crazed fan, it was ultimately revealed that someone had betrayed her by providing her address to the perpetrator.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the individual in question was Hikaru Kamiki, the former boyfriend of Ai and father of Aqua and Ruby. Ever since, Aqua has been determined to locate him and hold him accountable for his actions, using any means necessary.
Despite the anticipation, the long-awaited meeting between the two is short-lived. Ultimately, the man is released by the Hoshino twins at Ruby’s insistence, as he is consumed with guilt and anguish. This means that the desired revenge from Aqua (and ourselves) never materializes.
Despite already seeking revenge, Aqua may have another opportunity to get her revenge (pun intended). Oshi no Ko Chapter 155 uncovers that there was another mastermind behind the murder of the young idol, as well as Aqua’s past self, Goro Amamiya, Ryosuke Kaihara, and Yura Katayose.
Fuyuko Niino, also known as Nino, was identified as the individual from the original B-Komachi. She was one of the founding members of the idol group, but grew envious of Ai when she quickly gained attention as a new member. Unfortunately, this envy transformed into an unhealthy fixation.
Nino makes a brief appearance in both the manga and the anime. In The 15 Year Lie, the film adaptation of Ai’s life, she is portrayed by Kana. However, her role in the series was not significant until Chapter 155.
In the chapter, there is a scene where she gazes at an aged B-Komachi poster that she has defaced, leaving only Ai’s and her own faces untouched. This offers a glimpse into the extent of her fixation and foreshadows her role as the ultimate antagonist in Oshi no Ko.
Further details about Nino and her involvement in Ai’s death will be unveiled in Chapter 156. In the meantime, please stay updated on the schedule for Oshi no Ko Season 2 episodes.
