Though Oshi no Ko is filled with shocking moments, Season 2 Episode 12 definitely stands out thanks to an unexpected reunion.
As the penultimate episode of Oshi no Ko Season 2, Episode 12 had high expectations – and it delivered. Following Aqua and the girls on their trip to Miyazaki, it provided a deeper look into Goro Amemiya’s past (Aqua’s previous life) and concluded with a dramatic finale.
Recollecting her previous life with Dr. Amemiya, she searches for him alongside Akane.
However, instead of finding her beloved doctor, she discovers a corpse in a cave. Upon closer inspection, she notices the B-Komachi badge she had given him before her demise in her past life as Sarina, confirming that the deceased body does indeed belong to Goro.

This shocking revelation not only confirms Goro’s death to Ruby but also indicates he passed away alone in a remote location. Though she is yet unaware of the circumstances surrounding his death, it’s a logical assumption given how his body was discovered.
The scene where Ruby comes across Goro’s corpse is particularly jarring, as Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12 effectively illustrates the depth of their bond. The heart-wrenching moment is accentuated by Ruby’s stunned reaction.
