Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3 preview and what to expect

The third episode of Oshi no Ko season 2 is scheduled to air on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. However, the anime has already released preview images for the episode prior to its official release. The upcoming episode, titled ‘Rewriting’, will be available for streaming worldwide on HIDIVE.

The previous episode provided insight into the events that occurred prior to the start of rehearsals for the Tokyo Blade Stage Play. This included Melt apologizing to Kana for his previous subpar acting. Later in the anime, the conflict between Abiko Samejima and Goa revealed the issues that can arise during an adaptation production. As a result, the stage play rehearsals were delayed until a later time.

Please be advised: The following article contains spoilers for season 2 of the Oshi no Ko anime.

The most recent episode of the anime concluded with Akane Kurokawa inviting Aqua Hoshino to join her for a date at a circular stage to watch a stage play. It appears that the theater is the same one used for Tokyo Blade, which is notably distinct from more conventional stages.

Luckily, Aqua Hoshino is excited about the stage play and will be impressed by Goa’s talent for scriptwriting. As a result, he will make an effort to assist the scriptwriter in being recast as the Tokyo Blade Stage Play’s scriptwriter. He may seek aid from Raida Sumiaki, Yoriko Kichijouji, or both.

Possible conflict between Yoriko Kichijouji and Abiko Samejima in Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3

In Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3, it is clear that Yoriko Kichijouji will be assisting her former assistant Abiko Samejima with her manga. Both manga creators appear very focused and determined in this scene, leading to speculation that Yoriko may have been approached by Aqua to aid Goa.

With this in consideration, it is not unlikely that Yoriko will confront Abiko in the upcoming episode regarding her treatment of Goa during the stage play rehearsals. Knowing the past animosity between the two manga creators, it is probable that their words may cause harm to one another.

Finally, in Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3, viewers can expect to see more of Ruby Hoshino as she takes on an extended role. Although the preview did not give any hints about what her storyline will entail, the anime’s earlier trailer hinted at her frustrations with the limited opportunities she has as an idol.

Therefore, she plans on expressing her grievances to Miyako Saitou. It is clear that Mem-Cho intends to offer her some advice, but it may not align with Ruby’s preferences.
