The release date and trailer for the sequel of Oshi No Ko anime have been announced by the official Twitter account. Oshi No Ko season 2 will be released on July 3, 2024 and will be available worldwide.
Voice Cast Announced for Season 2
The primary factor contributing to the excitement for season 2, in addition to the reappearance of beloved characters, is the addition of a new voice cast. Uchiyama Koki, renowned for his performances as (Shigaraki in My Hero Academia) and (Tsukishima in Haikyuu!!!), will take on the role of Himekawa Taiki. Kobayashi Yuusuke, known for his portrayal of Senku in Dr. Stone, will lend his voice to Kamoshidi Sakuya.
New Trailer for Season 2 Now Available

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Expectations
The teaser video revealed that the Oshi No Ko characters are diligently preparing for their upcoming stage play. The second season will focus on the Shibuya Conflict Arc, which revolves around the Tokyo Blade play. This arc will introduce new characters who will play crucial roles in the storyline.
In the upcoming season, Tokyo Blade will showcase Kana as a supporting character, with Akane and Aqua taking on the roles of antagonists. The recently released teaser shows the trio fully immersed in rehearsing their lines, hinting at potential conflicts on set as their character dynamics unfold.
About Oshi no Ko
The manga has been running in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020 and will be adapted into an anime in 2023.
The narrative centers on Goro, a doctor who is reborn as Ai’s beloved idol, and is given the name Aquamarine. His twin sister, Ruby, is also reincarnated as a former patient from the hospital. Tragically, Ai is murdered by a stalker, who was also responsible for Goro’s death. Fueled by his desire for revenge against the stalker, Aquamarine vows to avenge his mother’s death. Meanwhile, Ruby follows in her mother’s footsteps and pursues a career as an idol.
