Oshi no Ko Season 2 Plot
The second season of Oshi no Ko will continue the story from the end of the first season. It will cover the 2.5D Stage Play Arc, also referred to as the Tokyo Blade Arc, which follows Aqua as she becomes a member of the stage play adaptation of a beloved manga.
Reuniting with him as part of the cast are some well-known individuals from the first season: Kana Arima and Akane Kurokawa. Nonetheless, Aqua’s sole objective is to uncover the true identity of his biological father. Yet, he must first confront his past trauma involving Ai in order to effectively convey emotions in his acting.
The 2.5D Stage Play Arc is currently the longest arc in the manga, consisting of 26 chapters and spanning over three volumes. This installment also features the introduction of prominent characters such as Abiko Samejima and Taiki Himekawa. However, fans of Ruby may be disappointed as she does not play a significant role in this particular arc.
The number of episodes for Oshi no Ko Season 2 has yet to be announced. If it follows the same format as the previous season with 11 episodes, the entire second season will be dedicated to adapting the 2.5D Stage Play Arc. Based on the anime’s trailer, it appears that this will indeed be the case.
