OT6 BRIIZEs Deliver Funeral Wreaths to SM Entertainment, Request Seunghan’s Departure from RIIZE

The return of Seunghan to RIIZE has sparked significant backlash from OT6 BRIIZE fans, prompting them to send funeral wreaths to SM Entertainment.

On October 11, a number of these wreaths were seen gathered outside the SM Entertainment building, coinciding with the announcement of Seunghan’s reintegration into RIIZE. The OT6 BRIIZE fans conveyed their opinion that the group should evolve without the inactive member.

The messages accompanying the wreaths reflected the sentiment among fans that the group’s success has been driven solely by six members, asserting that including Seunghan would undermine their efforts.

As a result, they have firmly requested SM Entertainment to remove him from the lineup and restructure the group.

On social media, Korean fans expressed their disappointment with comments like:

  • “I also thought there were 6 original members. Everything is going well now, so why bother?”
  • “Why would you include a non-contributing member in a successful team? I don’t see the logic.”
  • “Adding him feels like ruining a perfectly good dish.”
  • “He deserves a funeral wreath for this!”

This controversy has captured the attention of international media, leading OT7 BRIIZE fans to express their anger towards Korean fans for their inability to forgive Seunghan, who has not committed any wrongdoing.

In response, supporters of Seunghan have organized efforts to dispatch support trucks.

It’s worth noting that following the exposure of his personal life prior to his debut, Seunghan paused his activities, causing some fans to feel betrayed while others were frustrated by the invasion of his privacy.

Critics condemned the sasaeng fans for their invasive behavior towards an idol they once admired.

In light of these events, the police are contemplating legal action against those who obstruct public spaces due to the wreaths.
