Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of One True King (OTK), known as ‘Tips Out’, has publicly criticized the disturbing remarks made by fellow co-founder Asmongold regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict.
During a Twitch stream on October 14, Asmongold unleashed a controversial rant about the ongoing crisis, expressing a complete lack of empathy for the fatalities in the region, labeling them as “inferior” and “in direct opposition to Western values.”
“I don’t feel sorry for them, I don’t care. I don’t support them,” he declared in a tirade that quickly went viral on social media platforms.
His comments drew swift backlash, with numerous prominent streamers condemning the statements as racist and calling for Twitch to take action. Following the fallout, one of Asmongold’s accounts faced a temporary ban, reportedly lasting two weeks.
In response to the heated discourse, there have been calls for OTK, Asmongold’s organization, to respond as well. While no formal action has been taken yet, Tips Out has publicly shared his thoughts, describing Asmongold’s comments as ‘dehumanizing’ and highlighting the potential harm such viewpoints can cause.
This isn’t the first incident involving OTK’s leadership; Rich Campbell resigned in 2022 amid allegations of sexual misconduct.
Founded in 2020 by several influential content creators, including Asmongold and Tips Out, the latter currently serves as COO, working to strengthen business partnerships and secure sponsorships for the organization.
In his detailed statement, Tips Out reflected on his heritage, sharing that his father was a Syrian refugee who managed to escape to America during times of crisis.
Looking back on his upbringing in the United States, he noted that the events of September 11 marked a “monumental shift” in public perception and discourse, significantly altering attitudes toward various races, including his own.
“This drastic change in mindset cannot be traced back to a single event. It stems from decades of subtle media influence designed to create an ‘other,’ which allows those in power to take advantage of a divided and enraged populace,” he explained.
Connecting his personal experiences to Asmongold’s statements, Tips Out asserted, “The language he employed, whether deliberate or not, echoed the same kind of dehumanization that has affected generations of families, including my own.”
He cautioned that this kind of rhetoric has historically been used to “justify rampant violence, genocide, and the fracture of our universal kinship.”
While there have yet to be any repercussions for Asmongold within the confines of OTK, Tips Out emphasized his commitment to ensuring the well-being of their staff and promoting OTK’s growth as a reputable organization.
