Overwatch 2 and Transformers Collaboration Causes Excitement Among Players

The newest collaboration in Overwatch 2 will bring the world of Transformers into the mix, causing players to speculate about the impact it will have on Season 11.

Ever since it was released, Overwatch 2 has been involved in several highly praised collaborations, including One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, Le Sserafim, and most recently Transformers.

The partnership between Blizzard and Hasbro was hinted at in the Season 11 trailer’s finale, where the Overwatch 2 emblem seamlessly morphed into the Autobots logo.

As an added bonus, a road map for Season 11 features the logo under the category of “new collaboration,”signaling that the Transformers will make their debut on July 9.

Despite not having any skins revealed for the collaboration, fans are already filled with excitement for the crossover and eagerly anticipate what the developers have in store.

“After watching the Transformers teaser, one fan wrote, “Just give us the Transformers now and skip all this!”

“Someone else commented, ‘I can’t believe they combined two of my all-time favorite series. Is this for real?’”

Many players quickly started speculating on the potential skins that could be released for the collaboration, with several sharing similar ideas on what may be in development.

Previous collaborations have effectively combined the realms of Overwatch and other IPs by portraying the heroes with skins as if they were “cosplaying”as characters, rather than simply importing their designs.

Therefore, the three prevailing theories include Optimus Prime Reinhardt, Megatron Ramattra, and Bastion Bumblebee.

Nevertheless, Blizzard has not yet disclosed any of the forthcoming cosmetics, meaning that players will have to wait until we approach the collaboration to find out if their predictions were accurate.

In addition to Transformers, Season 11 will also include the highly anticipated return of Pink Mercy and the introduction of new Mythic Weapon Skins. Players can also expect significant changes to the map, which will be implemented when Season 11 begins on June 20.
