An Overwatch 2 cheater has managed to ascend to the number one position on the ranked Support leaderboard without facing any bans from Blizzard.
Game developers continually battle against cheaters, and the Overwatch 2 team is no exception. Despite ongoing efforts to ban accounts and enforce rules, cheaters persist in discovering methods to gain unfair advantages, even in the highest-ranked matches.
From lag switchers to server crashers infecting Top 500 lobbies, and M&K (mouse and keyboard) abusers in console games, cheaters are willing to employ various tactics.
In this particular case, a cheater has secured the top rank on the Asian leaderboard, yet remains unbanned.

This situation was brought to light during a Twitch broadcast by Overwatch 2 streamer Kraandop. During the stream, professional player KSAA joined the chat to request a review of a match against the number one Support player in Asia.
In the replay code M60FZM, it’s evident that the Baptiste from the red team was openly aim locking against KSAA’s team. The lobby’s rank ranged from GrandMaster three to Champion five, representing one of the highest skill levels available.
For context, in Season 11, this player peaked at Diamond One. Now in Season 12, they have skyrocketed to Champion Five, taking the top position among various professional players, with the account currently boasting 146 games played this season.

Kraandop also queued into a match with the cheater. During that game, professional players in the lobby proposed to draw the match, preventing the cheater from gaining any elo—common practice in high-ranked games.
Interestingly, the cheater claimed to be a fan of Kraandop but fell silent when confronted with hacking allegations.
As of now, the cheater’s account remains in the number one position on the Asian Support leaderboards.
