Overwatch 2 Devs Address Pink Mercy Skin Concerns as Beloved Cosmetic Returns

The developers of Overwatch 2 have responded to concerns raised by players who have not received the Pink Mercy skin after purchasing the returning cosmetic.

During the promotion for Season 11, Blizzard announced the highly anticipated return of the beloved Pink Mercy skin and also revealed a new Rose Gold Mercy bundle. This bundle was created as part of a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Despite the skin reappearing in the store and attracting thousands of players to purchase it, there have been numerous reports of issues. Despite having proof of purchase, some players have not received the skin and the developers have since acknowledged and addressed this problem.

Pink Mercy is finally back in the Overwatch 2 shop.

Despite restarting the game, players were still not able to see the Rose Gold Mercy bundles they had recently purchased in their hero gallery. This issue was being reported by multiple players on various threads on the Blizzard forums.

A response from the Blizzard community manager stated, “Hello everyone, I will monitor for any updates, but please note that any purchases made may take a few minutes to appear in your hero gallery.”

Despite some players confirming that it may take a few minutes, there are still numerous posts on the Blizzard forums from players stating that they have not received their Pink Mercy skin even after purchasing it hours ago.

According to certain players, they were charged for the skin but have not yet received it in their accounts, despite being sent a receipt for the purchase.

The issue seems to be affecting a large number of players, according to reports on the Blizzard forums, regardless of whether they purchased the skin bundle from a console or PC platform store.

The community manager at Blizzard provided an additional update, stating that the majority of players have now received their Pink Mercy and Rose Gold Mercy content. However, there are still a few players who may still be waiting for theirs and the team is currently looking into the issue.

Blizzard suggests that if you do not see the cosmetics in your hero gallery, you should try restarting the game. For PC players, fully signing out of Battle.net may help, while console players should completely shut down their console for a full account refresh. If the issue persists, it is possible that you may just need to wait as Blizzard is currently investigating these rare cases.
