Chinese Olympian Sheng Lihao achieved dual gold medals in both 10-meter Air Rifle events. A snapshot of the 19-year-old athlete, showcasing his unique back-bending stance while taking aim, quickly gained traction on the internet.
A player on the Overwatch subreddit shared their realization about Widowmaker’s recognizable shooting stance after comparing it to that of an Olympic contestant.

Despite initial criticism from Overwatch players who deemed Widowmaker’s posture impossible or unrealistic, it eventually dawned on them that this was actually the correct way to aim a rifle.
The Overwatch meme gained widespread attention on the subreddit, garnering over 400 comments from fans who understood that Widowmaker’s pose was not solely for the purpose of getting kills and looking good.
One of the top responses mentioned “her ability to complete every mission in high heels”. It would not shock these fans if Widowmaker earned two Olympic gold medals while wearing heels.
As pointed out by another commenter, the main distinction between the two was the attire, as the Olympic suits were so rigid that individuals were unable to bend their knees when walking away from the shooting line.
Having this DPS character’s distinctive grappling ability requires her outfit to possess enough elasticity to maneuver between positions. Apart from that, these two marksmen are quite similar.
