“Amidst the confusion surrounding the launch of the new Clash mode, players of Overwatch 2 are urging each other not to overlook the importance of the objective point.”
The release of Juno and significant balance changes to mobile heroes in Season 12 have definitely stirred things up.
The introduction of Clash, the successor to 2CP, has caused a major shake-up, but it is currently facing several issues as players are requesting changes to the mode.
Nevertheless, it is possible that we players are also contributing to the problem, as it appears that some of us are struggling to remain focused on the objective.
It looks like some of us are having some trouble staying on the point in Clash
During a discussion on the Overwatch subreddit, a user pleaded with others to focus on getting on the point during Clash matches. This was expressed in a Reddit thread.
A number of individuals also concurred, sharing stories of how they would stay on the point by themselves while their team aggressively advanced into the enemy’s spawn, completely disregarding the objective.
The commenter agreed that they were able to successfully capture a point on their own while their team and the opposing team were engaged in a fight on the previous point. They were surprised that they were not attacked by the enemy team during this time.
“I find it surprising that players often fail to realize when a point has been captured and a new one is available,”another individual expressed on Reddit.
Many were shocked by the apparent prevalence of this behavior, as their teammates were not engaging in fights at the point, but instead choosing to play from a distance.
“At first, I believed I was the only one struggling. As I fought for my life at the front, I turned around and realized that the other four members of my team had yet to enter the doorway.”
Naturally, this is simply the experience that comes with the release of a new mode, as I also struggled with the same challenges when Flashpoint was introduced a year ago, frequently neglecting the objective.
Despite the fact that the design of Clash maps can motivate players to continue pushing, we will all improve our skills in Clash over time.
