Palworld community shaken by appearance of shiny Lamball

A Palworld player saw his Lamball glow, leading the community to wonder if it could start evolving like a Pokémon.

The Lamball, a rotund lamb that walks on two legs, is one of the most adorable creatures from Pocketpair’s phenomenal success. There’s little mystery surrounding this particular Pal, especially considering how quickly Palworld players can capture him.

However, some users are starting to wonder if this Pal is not hiding secrets. Indeed, a player’s Lamball started to glow randomly. This made the community think long and hard about the possibility of Pals evolution.

Palworld players mystified by glowing Lamball creature

After coming across something quite shocking, user Nineties_girl took to Reddit with a heartfelt question. She asked: “Why does lamball shine?”», accompanied by a screenshot. She then shared more information in the caption, revealing that holding the Pal “also increases the character’s temperature.”

However, the community was unsure of the answer. Everyone seemed intrigued by the screenshot showing a Lamball glowing a bright yellow-orange with a red halo.

Given the constant comparisons between Palworld and Pokémon, many Redditors have joked that the Lamball might be evolving. “It looks like he’s trying to evolve,” one response read.

Another person suggested “It evolves into woolipop”, a pink creature from Palworld that looks like a mix of a sheep and a poodle.

Someone else offered a more reasonable explanation, wondering if “maybe he’s stuck in the implosion animation?”»

This certainly seems like the most logical explanation. Implode is an ability that allows Pals to self-destruct and trigger an explosion at that time.

In Palworld, creatures that use the Implode skill glow bright orange just before exploding. It is therefore possible that the Redditor’s Lamball is indeed stuck in an Implosion animation.
