Palworld Developers Resolve Game-Breaking Bug That Weakened All Pals

After much speculation, Palworld players’ fears were validated when developers announced that a lingering bug from a recent patch had reduced all Pal damage by 50%. Fortunately, they chose to address the issue by declaring that it had been fixed.

Following the April 3 update of Palworld, players spent the initial days complimenting the new additions and modifications made to the survival game. Along with the highly anticipated PVP update being announced, no one initially noticed any issues.

Following the initial excitement, Pal Tamers began using the game’s Subreddit to raise concerns about the strength of their Pals. Soon, Palworld players were discussing a potential bug that could be affecting the damage output of certain Pals.

After further investigation, it was discovered that this specific bug was impacting all of the Pals in the game. In response, Pocketpair has released Patch v0.2.2.0, effectively resolving the issue.

Palworld’s v0.2.2.0 update patch notes: New Features

According to the patch notes, the developers have addressed a problem that was causing Pal attacks to only inflict half of their intended damage. This bug was causing difficulty in defeating certain overworld bosses in Palworld prior to the fix.

Despite the challenges, players showed their resilience and creativity by coming up with clever solutions to overcome the unintended nerf. Our personal favorite was utilizing a highly trained Chikipi, which was able to decimate enemies with its unbelievably high damage output.

In addition to addressing the damage issue in the most recent Palworld update, the developers have also implemented several minor enhancements. Improvements have been made to the hit detection of the Nightmare Ray and “Nightmare Bloom attacks, and PC players can now exit the editing screen by pressing the escape key on the newly added Antique Dresser.

The patch notes also included fixes for “additional minor bugs” . These issues were seemingly considered less crucial and were not specifically listed.
