Palworld Guide: Steps to Obtain Meowmere

In Palworld, players immerse themselves in a breathtaking open world populated by charming creatures known as Pals, hostile thugs, mercenaries, and formidable alpha Pals that demand careful taming. To navigate this vibrant and sometimes dangerous environment successfully, players will require high-caliber weapons. One exceptional choice is the Meowmere, a versatile weapon catering to both melee and ranged combat, which became available with the significant Feybreak update.

To craft the coveted Meowmere weapon in Palworld, players must first unlock its blueprint by achieving level 30 in the Ancient Technology Tree. Note that obtaining Ancient Technology Points can be more challenging than regular Technology Points. Therefore, ensure that you possess at least 2 Ancient Technology Points to access the Meowmere blueprint.

Once the blueprint is available, you’ll need the following materials to create the Meowmere:

  • 22x Ingot
  • 22 Paldium Fragments
  • 22 Coals
  • 3 Predator Cores

In addition to gathering these items, make sure you have a Production Assembly Line or Weapons Assembly Line constructed. As a legendary-tier weapon, the Meowmere cannot be crafted at a standard workbench.

For newcomers to Palworld, resource collection can be time-consuming; thus, starting with ingots may be the best option.

Gathering Ingots

To harvest ingots, ensure you possess a pickaxe, then search for ore deposits, which resemble brownish rocks, distinguishing them from greyish stone deposits. Mine these ores and return to your base to transform them into ingots.

To produce ingots consistently, set up a Primitive Furnace (available at level 10) or an advanced furnace you may have access to. Simply use 2 ore to create 1 ingot.

Additionally, to operate the Primitive Furnace, you’ll need a fire-type Pal at your base. Assigning a Foxspark Pal, which is easily obtainable in the early game, to the furnace will ensure uninterrupted production.

Obtaining Paldium Fragments

Paldium Fragments can be found among blue-colored rocks throughout the game’s expansive environments. Mining these rocks with a pickaxe yields higher quantities than regular stone deposits. While breaking stone rocks may occasionally result in Paldium Fragments, prioritizing blue rocks is strongly recommended for efficiency.

Collecting Coal

Coal deposits, appearing as dark black rocks, can be harvested in various biomes. The Twilight Dunes region, located in the northeastern part of the map, is rich in coal deposits.

However, a standard pickaxe will not suffice; instead, equip a Metal Axe before heading out to gather this essential resource.

Acquiring Predator Cores

Predator Cores, a key resource introduced in the Feybreak Major DLC update, are acquired by defeating Predator Pals—powerful creatures that appear at level 30 or higher. Equip yourself with the best possible armor and weapons to confront these foes successfully.

You’ll often spot Predator Pals at night, as they emit a luminous glow—usually red or another vibrant color—accompanied by a visible health bar, akin to alpha or boss Pals. While they can still be hunted during the day, their glow makes spotting them easier at night.

For players struggling to locate Predator Pals, one spot to consider is the (-242, 276) coordinates, particularly at night when a level 28 Dogen can be spotted near the hillside.

The Meowmere boasts a remarkable 200 attack damage and 2222 durability, making it a formidable weapon choice. It operates without ammo consumption, relying solely on stamina for continuous melee strikes.

With each swing, the Meowmere unleashes rainbow-hued kitty projectiles that bounce twice before disappearing. Its melee attack is devastating, while the projectiles excel at crowd control, making it indispensable when facing groups of hostile NPCs or mercenaries.

Although there are no ammo costs associated with the Meowmere, monitoring its durability is crucial; regular repairs will ensure it remains in optimal condition.
