Mistakes can happen to anyone in Palworld, and one player in particular learned the hard way that they should be wary of certain items when building a base.
Building a base is an essential part of Palworld’s gameplay, encouraging players to unleash their imagination and creativity. Despite the current building limitations in the game, many players have demonstrated that it is possible to create complex and impressive bases.
One example is a player who created a huge base resembling the city from Attack on Titan.
Others took their surroundings into account, building a stunning “unassailable” base in a secret location or an exciting base with a water slide.
Now imagine if all that hard work disappeared in a split second because of an “accident” . Unfortunately, this happened to one player because of an item he was holding in his hands.
In a thread on Reddit, a Palworld player warned others against carrying a Rocket Launcher while building a base. He even shared a clip detailing his reasoning.
Don’t build your base holding a rocket launcher… byu/BlingCringus inPalworld
The clip begins with the player placing a Hot Spring on top of their base. While the player attempted to place a second Hot Spring nearby, they accidentally dismantled the floor instead of the Hot Spring.
In the confusion, the player fell inside their base structure and fired the Rocket Launcher at the ground, thinking they were still in Build Mode.
And before he could react, his entire base exploded in seconds, leaving only the materials on the ground. It didn’t take long for this unfortunate event to attract the attention of other players.
“Oh man, I’m sorry for your loss. I did something similar where I thought I had the grappling hook and instead I hit my row of storage containers,” one user wrote, sharing a similar experience.
“Oh, I would be so discouraged. I’m so sorry this happened to you,” added another.
Another user felt sorry, but couldn’t help but laugh at the situation, to which the player replied: “Honestly, I laughed afterwards too.”
