To capture the Legendary Pal Frostallion, a Palworld player used a “genius”strategy involving campfires and a Shadowbeak mount.
Defeating and capturing Pals is often far from easy in Palworld. Of course, the Legendary Pals prove the most difficult to master, requiring some trickier techniques to achieve.
The Legendary Pal Frostallion is therefore no exception. Players can find the flying creature by heading into the snowy Mountain biome, in the northwest of the map.
Due to the creature’s Ice type, using fire against it is the most obvious strategy. But one person used fire in a way that other players might not have considered.
Before luring the Ice Legendary into battle, however, a Reddit user had a genius idea. He actually spent about an hour carefully lining up the battlefield with campfires.
So when it came time to fight the Legendary Frostallion, the Palworld player took flight on the back of a Shadowbeak and let his prey rampage through the sea of lit campfires.
Less than two minutes of fire damage was enough to “cook”Frostallion and take him down quite easily, although the player also used a few arrows.
In the comments, players expressed their surprise. Many were impressed that someone had thought of such a tactic. One person called it a “genius idea.”
Another Palworld fan said of the unorthodox Frostallion/campfire method: “I love how people keep finding exploits and ways to beat pals simply by using unconventional solutions to a problem.”
Naturally, for some Palworld players, this method is too time-consuming, especially since Pals such as Blazamut take out the flying horse without much difficulty.
